New Metal Crafts recently completed a major Lighting Restoration project for a historic church in Springfield, Illinois. New Metal Crafts a recognized leader in the field of Lighting Restoration and repair was selected to restore all of historic lighting for The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. The project included the restoration and repair of ten monumental cast bronze chandeliers. The chandeliers were repaired, completely refinished and rewired to meet current electrical standards. The project also included the restoration of numerous chandeliers, sconces and lanterns all original to the Cathedral built in 1928.
